Domestic competition runs all year round in the state-of-the-art Shoalhaven Indoor Sports Centre.

COMPETITION

At Kiama Junior Football Club we offer skill sessions, domestic competition, and representative programs. Bring your child along to join a team at whatever level best suits them.

AUSSIE HOOPS

Players aged 5-10 participate in the Aussie Hoops skill development program.

BARRENGARRY CONFERENCE
BARRENGARRY CONFERENCE

Barrengarry Conference is a development competition giving regional Associations across southeast NSW a gateway into representative basketball.

  • Games are played on four or five Sundays at stadiums on the south coast.
  • Travel is required to south coast venues such as Bateman’s Bay, Wollongong, and Moss Vale.
  • Age groups do not compete in the same place on the same Sunday. For example, we may have U14s in Bateman’s Bay and U12s in Wollongong one weekend with U16s and U18s in those locations the following weekend.
  • Senior and junior teams participate.
SOUTHERN JUNIOR LEAGUE (SJL)
SOUTHERN JUNIOR LEAGUE (SJL)

Southern Junior League (SJL) is a NSW level competition for strong competitive teams.

  • The pool is split geographically with winning SJL teams going on to play teams from other regions (EJL, WJL, NJL).
  • Games are played over four weekends across February and May.
  • Travel is required to Albury, Canberra, and Wollongong with all age groups competing in the same location on the same weekend.
JOHN MARTIN COUNTRY TOURNAMENT
JOHN MARTIN COUNTRY TOURNAMENT

John Martin Country Tournament has a range of divisions from Development/Div 3 up to Premier.

  • Teams from across the whole of NSW compete across three days on the June long weekend.
  • All kjfc teams are expected to participate.
  • Each age group competes in a different location in country NSW so travel is generally required.
  • Junior teams only participate.
BNSW HIGH PERFORMANCE PROGRAM
BNSW HIGH PERFORMANCE PROGRAM

holds a range of events and trials throughout the year to identify, develop, and foster the skills of young athletes who aspire to compete at the highest levels of representative basketball.

  • Opportunities exist from U12s to U18s.
  • Trials and opportunities to participate are announced on social media. Keep an eye out for U12 Skills Day, TAP Trials, CDP Camps, D-League, and Regional Sporting Academy Trials.
  • Trials and events happen at locations around NSW. Some travel may be required to participate.
SPALDING WARATAH LEAGUE
SPALDING WARATAH LEAGUE

Spalding Waratah League is a NSW level competition for senior teams.

  • The pool is split geographically with finals bringing together teams from all over NSW.
  • Youth League (age 18-23) and Senior league for men and women.
  • Games are played on Saturday or Sunday between May and September.
  • Mixture of home games and away games with some travel required.
